 We are excited to be able to now offer you a brilliant soft gel product that will assist you to stick your foil designs on the nail without a hassle.

This foil gel can be used with a variety of brands of foils.

1. Select your base gel colour for the nail (soft or hard gel is fine).
2. Once you have applied your base gel colour and cured (do not cleanse), apply a thin layer of the TNS Foil Gel directly to the base gel colour and cure for 60 seconds. Additional time may be required if using a lower powered LED lamp.
   
3. Apply your selected foil to the nail. Using a silicone tool to rub the foil design onto the nail.
4. Seal your completed design with a "foil friendly" clear gel top coat such as I'm A No-Wipe Top Coat.
5. Cure for a further 60 seconds.

 

TIPS & TRICKS

 

1. If you are having trouble getting your foil adhesive to stick - cure for longer. Try 90 seconds instead of 60 seconds. Everyone's lamp is different, but it can make a big difference with how sticky your foil glue gets.

 

2. If you have a few lines that haven't adhered, try pressing the foil back down on those areas and compress.

 

3. If you aren't having any luck with your thumb, use a flat end silicone tool. They are smooth and so don't break your foil when compressing it into the nail gel.

 

4. Apply 2 layers of gel polish top coat to seal that foil in. Make sure you seal around the edges on the nail so no water can get in.

 

5. Apply your foil gel thinly, applying a thicker amount won't create extra adhesion. Just make sure you can see how much foil gel you are applying so it is fully covering the nail.

 

6. Apply a gel polish colour behind your foil to help your design "pop". A white background will make colours look bold and bright. Holographics look amazing on black.

 

7. Curved nail plates can be difficult to work on. If you aren't getting good compression where the foil overlaps, try putting a few scissor cuts into your foil so you can apply it easier. There is also nothing wrong with applying foil in sections - especially if the nail is really long!

 

*The TNS Foil Gel can be removed with a nail file or soaked off using TNS Acetone or TNS Soft Soak.
